02How it works
It tests the page, not the source code.
Most WordPress accessibility scanners read your page's HTML on the server. That approach has no access to computed styles, so it cannot tell whether an element is actually visible to anyone.
The result is a long list of failures inside closed accordions, collapsed menus and inactive tabs that no visitor and no screen reader will ever reach. You spend an afternoon chasing problems that were never problems.
Auditwright loads each page the way a visitor's browser does and tests what actually rendered, including anything your theme or JavaScript added. Hidden content is excluded because it is genuinely hidden, not because of a guess.
Runs on ordinary hosting
Scanning happens in the browser you are already using. No headless browser, no queue, no server requirements.
Nothing leaves your site
Page content and results never reach us or any third party. Everything stays in your own database.
Tested at scale
206 pages with a commercial theme, Elementor and WooCommerce: scanned in about two minutes, zero false positives from hidden content.
03The report
Organised the way the standard is written.
Developers want a list of broken elements. Clients, procurement teams and legal reviewers want something else: findings mapped to WCAG success criteria, with conformance level and instance counts, in a document that can be filed.
Auditwright produces that document. Print it, save it as a PDF, put your own company name on it.
It also states plainly what automated testing did and did not cover, which is the part that makes it worth handing over.

04Read this before you buy
What Auditwright will not do.
Auditwright performs automated testing only. No automated tool detects every WCAG failure. Many success criteria require human judgement, testing with real assistive technology, or both.
The report it produces is a self-assessment, not a certification. It does not by itself demonstrate conformance with WCAG 2.2, the European Accessibility Act, EN 301 549, or the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Auditwright is the repeatable first step, and the record that you took it. It is not the last step, and any product telling you otherwise is selling you a false sense of safety.

06Questions
Straight answers.
Will this make my site compliant?
No, and be sceptical of anything claiming otherwise. Auditwright finds and documents problems automated testing can detect. Fixing them is real work, and full conformance also needs manual testing.
Is this an accessibility overlay?
No. Overlays inject a script that tries to patch problems as the page loads. They are widely criticised by disabled users, they do not fix the underlying code, and they produce no documentation. Auditwright changes nothing on your public site.
Does my site's content get sent anywhere?
No. Scanning runs entirely in your own browser and results are stored in your own WordPress database.
Will it slow my site down?
No. Nothing runs for your visitors. Scanning happens in the WordPress admin, when you ask for it or on a schedule you set.
What happens if I stop paying?
The free version keeps working and your existing results stay in your database. You lose scheduled scans and the ability to generate new reports.
Is this site accessible?
It would be a poor advertisement if it were not. This page passes automated testing against WCAG 2.2 A and AA with zero violations, using the same engine the plugin uses.
